What is Sa’iy:

• Walking between the two mountains, Safa and Marwa, is called Sa’iy.

How to perform Sa’iy:

• First do 9th istalam of Hijr-e-Aswad while you are in Mataaf.
• Then proceed towards the mountain of Safa.
• When you are near Safa, recite any of the following (optional)

• Stand on top of Safa where the Ka’bah is visible.
• Make Dua, it is the time of acceptance.
• Make intention for Sa’iy:



 

 

Begin Sa’iy from Safa.

• Start walking from Safa to Marwah, this will be your first trip.
• Then from Marwah walk back to Safa, this will be is second trip.
• Make 7 trips in this same manner to complete your Sai’y.
• Your last (seventh) trip will be end at mountain of Marwah.
• Men should walk Briskly between MILAIN-UL-AKHDARAIN (Green light area).
• Complete seven rounds of Sa’iy in this manner.
